Famous New York City bartender Jerry Thomas published this recipe in 1862, and Three Wood Bourbon makes the case that some originals only get better.
Ingredients
- 2 oz Dexter Three Wood
- 1/2 oz Pineapple Juice
- 1/2 oz Fresh Lemon Juice
- 1/2 oz Orgeat Almond Syrup
- 1/2 oz Simple Syrup
- 1 tsp Rose’s Grenadine
Directions
- Combine ingredients into a tin with ice and shake until well chilled.
- Double strain into a rocks glass with fresh ice.
- Garnish with a lemon peel.
