An Expression of 19th-Century Elegence
Dexter Double Wine Straight Bourbon Whiskey draws from a centuries-old tradition. In the 1800s, whiskey merchants across Europe commonly aged their spirits in casks that had held port and Madeira, discovering that the wine-seasoned wood transformed the whiskey’s character. Double Wine honors that tradition by resting first in traditional oak before finishing with Madeira and Port staves through our WoodCraft Finishing process. Every note of dark fruit, velvety tannin, and toasted oak comes from the natural interaction between bourbon and wine-seasoned wood.
Named for Edmund Dexter, a prominent 19th-century Cincinnati whiskey merchant, Double Wine carries that same commitment to quality into new territory. It is a bridge between the worlds of wine and whiskey, built with the same precision and craft behind every bottle in the Dexter collection. Drink responsibly.
